Fly to Zhengzhou in the morning, upon arrival, transfer to Anyang, visit Yinxu, the ruins of the last capital of China's Shang Dynasty (1766 BC - 1050 BC). The capital served 255 years for 12 kings in 8 generations.(L/D)

After breakfast, trasnfer back to Zhengzhou and continue to drive to Luoyang. Visit Shaolin Temple .The Shaolin Temple embraces many exciting attractions such as the Hall of Heavenly Kings (Tianwangdian), the Mahavira Hall (Daxiongbaodian), the Pagoda Forest, the Dharma Cave and the Shaolin Temple Martial Art Training Centre. Then you will visit Longmen Grottoes. The entire construction of Longmen Grottoes lasted more than four hundred years, through the Northern Dynasties, Sui Dynasty, Tang Dynasty and up to Song Dynasty. Today, there are still over 2,000 caves, 100,000 Buddhist images ranging in size from 2 cm to 17 meters, more than 2,800 inscribed tablets, plus 43 Buddhist pagodas remaining in both East Hill and West Hill. Take a morning train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in, and then you’ll explore the City Wall and Bell Tower. Afterwards you’ll visit the Big Goose Pagoda. Tonight, you’ll also enjoy the special Jiaozi Banquet.(B/L/D)

An unforgettable excursion is planned to the remarkable underground ruins near Xi'an, to see the Terracotta Army. There is an opportunity to view archaeologists at work excavating the huge tomb of first Emperor Qin, builder of the Great Wall. See thousands of life sized terracotta soldiers and their horses, which served as the imperial bodyguards to this ancient emperor. After which you’ll visit the Stele Forest.(B/L/D)
04 Nov., 2010 Xi’an/Beijing
Fly to Beijing in the morning. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guide and accompanied to your hotel. The afternoon’s sightseeing includes a visit Tian'anmen Square and the Imperial Palace in the once Forbidden City. The square is surrounded by imposing buildings such as the Great Hall of the People, Museum of Chinese History, Chairman Mao Mausoleum and Front Gate. (B/L/D)

Today you will visit the renowned Great Wall, which is one of the eight wonders of the world and is the only man-made structure visible from the moon. This immense wall is some 3,800 miles long and was built to keep out invaders as well as to retain the inhabitants. In the afternoon, you will visit the magnificent 800 year-old Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved of all imperial gardens. After a drive back to the main city, you will sample Beijing roasted duck.(B/L/D)

You will visit Capital Museum. After lunch, you will visit the Tempel of Heaven , which is one of the most photographed structures in China. Located in a large park, the temple houses the impressive Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. Then Transfer to the airport, and fly back to Shanghai(B)
